The sales begin, the countdowns start, and we're encouraged to buy more, buy faster and buy now before the opportunity disappears.

But here at Two in the Sun, we take a different approach…

Made by Hand, Not in Excess

Every piece of Two in the Sun jewellery begins with an idea, inspired by the natural world around us.

The warmth of the sun, the movement of the ocean, the delicate shape of a wildflower. These are the things that inspire our designs, and we want the way we create to reflect that same thoughtfulness.

Our jewellery is handmade in Australia, with time and care going into bringing each design to life.

We're not interested in producing endless quantities or creating excess just to keep up with demand. Our approach is more considered. We make jewellery because we believe in the beauty of a well-made piece, something you can wear every day and treasure for years to come.

For us, the value of jewellery isn't in how much it costs today compared to yesterday. It's in the care behind it, the way it makes you feel, and the memories it gathers along the way.

Less Excess, Less Waste

Right now, our planet is at breaking point. There are fires, floods, and natural disasters occurring at alarming rates… and fast fashion has a pretty big part in the whole show.

One of the things we love most about running a small handmade jewellery business is being able to take a more thoughtful approach to what we create.

When we're encouraged to buy things simply because they're on sale, it's easy to end up with things we don't really need, don't truly love, or quickly forget about… or that end up in waste.

We'd rather create pieces that become part of your everyday.

Jewellery you reach for without thinking. A necklace that reminds you of summer. A ring that feels like it has always belonged to you. Earrings that travel with you from one chapter of life to the next.

By focusing on timeless designs and making pieces to order, we aim to create more intentionally and avoid unnecessary excess. We know that no business is without an environmental footprint, but we believe that being thoughtful about what we make, and why we make it, is a meaningful place to start.

We don't want to make more just for the sake of making more. We'd rather make something worth keeping.

A Different Way to Think About Value

Black Friday has become synonymous with discounts, but we think there's another way to look at value.

Many bigger companies factor the big sales into their actual retail pricing! So their things are marked up so they can be marked down at sale time and still make a profit. We don’t operate like that. We price our jewellery fairly year round, so you will always get the same value no matter when you buy from us!

When you buy handmade jewellery, you're supporting more than the finished product. You're supporting the person behind it, the time and care involved, and a small independent business built around a love of creating and care for our planet.

At Two in the Sun, we want our jewellery to be valued for what it is, rather than for how cheaply we can sell it.

Our prices reflect the materials, time, craftsmanship and care that go into every piece. We believe in being fair to the people who make our jewellery, as well as the people who wear it.

And we believe that beautiful things don't need to be bought in a hurry. Take your time. Choose wisely, and you’ll have something to wear and cherish forever.

We're not here to tell you what to buy or when to buy it. We know that sales can be helpful, and that everyone shops differently.

But we do want to offer a gentle reminder that you don't have to participate in every shopping event.

Sometimes the most meaningful purchase is the one you've thought about for a while. The piece you keep coming back to. The design that feels like you, rather than something you bought because a countdown told you to.
